As much as you would like to overlook the noises your car is making, it’s best not to. That’s because car noises usually indicate that something is wrong. If you hear rattling inside a tire at low speeds and it gets louder as you drive at high speeds, it can mean that you have a loose lug nut inside your hub cap. Do not ignore this sound. Have you noticed a popping or clicking sound when you’re turning but stops when you drive straight? That can mean that one or both of your car’s constant velocity joints on your front axle needs to be replaced. Your car’s constant velocity (CV) joints are responsible for connecting the transmission to the wheels. They’re primarily used on front-wheel-drive cars, but they can also be found on rear and four-wheel drive cars.
